As we get closer to the big $ week (not talking about March Madness) Conference Tournament Play (March 10-15), the Sports Executioner is taking advantage of Conference Records, not just overall records. Today all the plays have teams with a superior “In-Conference” record vs their opponent Let’ s go. ALL TIMES PST.
10:00AM . Lay -6.5 on 17-8 (10-2 Conf) UMBC at home vs 10-17 (6-6 conf.) AlbanyNY.
11:00AM. Lay -2.5 (Buy down from -4.5) on 16-10 (10-5 Conf) Central Connecticut @ 6-22 (4-11) Chicago State.
1:00 pm. Lay -5.5 on 18-8 USC (7-8 Conf) at home vs 9-17 (2-13 Conf) Oregon. Yes we are “shorting Oregon” again, this time on the road where they have only won 1 game on the Road (lowly Rutgers). Lay the points, USC is battling for a tourney spot.
4:00 pm. Take +1.5 on 18-10 (10-5 Conf) @ home vs 17-11 Furman (8-7 Conf) . Something screwy here. I make Wofford -2.5 as they are 7-3 their last 10 games vs 4-6 for Furman. Wofford is also 10-3 at home. Take the points and a gift.
5:00 pm. HATCHET PLAY. Lay -1.5 on 14-14 (6-6 Conf) South Dakota State @ 6-22 (1-12 )Oral Roberts. SDAK is 5-5 their last 10 and Oral Roberts is 1-9. ORU has given up their season and they can’t win in Conference. Lay the small number.
Another Note: Whey does The SE play all these lesser known teams. Simple answer; that is where the value is. The Sportsbooks have to make a CBB line today for 148 games, + 148 Totals, + an average of 10 props per game. that is 296 + 1480 props. They focus their attention on the SEC, Big 10, Big 12, ACC etc. Our opportunity is playing Coastal Atlantic, Patriot, Summit League etc.
