A word about Bowl Games from the Sports Executioner. It used to be a lot easier!. It is not so simple to just look at history and stats and pick bowl games anymore. Now we have the Merry- Go -Round:
Coaches getting fired: Brian Kelly (LSU), Hugh Freeze (Auburn), Sam Pittman (Arkansas), Billy Napier (Florida), and Mark Stoops (Kentucky) leaving their posts, alongside Big Ten coach Sherrone Moore (Michigan) and Big 12 coach Mike Gundy (Oklahoma State), often due to performance, firings, or big-name switches like Kiffin to LSU, creating a busy offseason for new hires.
New Coaches at bowl teams : Missouri State, WSU,Southern Miss, Toledo, Tulane, U-Conn, Memphis, Penn State,Cal, James Madison, UAB, North Texas, Ole Miss, LSU, Florida.

So in summary we take into account all this stuff…and we will still win!!! Ha!

12/19/25 8:00am Myrtle Beach Bowl . Take surprising 10-3 Kennesaw State +3 vs 9-4 Western Michigan. K State was the worst team in the FBS in 2024, now look at them. They are so excited they may jump out of their uniforms before kick-off. They have a terrific QB and better defense. If they can stop Western Michigan’s run game they will win easy!
12/19/25 11:30 am. Take 8-4 Memphis +3.5 vs 7-5 NC State. NC State has “Opt Out City” and Memphis can run the ball. Should be close, so we will take the points here.
12/19/25 5:00pm. College Football Playoff. Take lucky 10-3 Alabama +1.5 @ 10-2 Oklahoma. Everyone loves Oklahoma, great defense, good QB, playing at home, they already beat Bama, etc.. Yes all true. I might add that Alabama can’t run the ball 3 yards. I don’t care. They will win this game outright. The first game Oklahoma won the game 23-21 and 17 points came off of turnovers. That should not happen in this game a second time. Alabama wants to prove to everyone they deserve to be in the playoffs, and they have a great defense as well, and a better QB in Simpson. I don’t particularly like Bama, and we be them huge against GA their last time out. But what can I say “ ROLL TIDE!”
